That same year, the company premiered at Sadler’s Wells Theatre; in 1984, Dance Theatre of Harlem presented Creole’s masterpiece, Giselle, set in the Louisiana swamps of the 1840s; in 1988, the company toured the Soviet Union for five weeks, including performances in Moscow, Tbilisi, Leningrad He departed for South Africa in 1992 for the «Dance Across the Barrier» tour, a program of the same name that continues to this day.
