The Ballets de Monte Carlo is the national ballet company of Monaco. It was founded in 1985 by Her Royal Highness the Princess of Hanover. The Ballets de Monte Carlo has been praised for its high artistic standards, and has been compared to prestigious ballet companies such as the Mariinsky Ballet and the Paris Opera Ballet.
